Welcome

We did it!  And we couldn’t have done it with out your help.     

To all the volunteers who spent countless hours knocking on doors, making phone calls, putting up signs, and getting voters to the polls, to my staff who sacrificed so much of their personal lives to be a part of my campaign, and to all of you who graciously welcomed me into your homes and offered assistance in countless ways, I thank you for all you’ve done.  

My father always taught me to hold myself to high standards of integrity, honesty, and community service.  We’re missing that in Washington right now. That’s why I ran for Congress – to bring those standards that my father talked about back to our House.  

I so look forward to working with each of you to focus on the priorities that we all share – fixing our economy and making it work for every American, making health care more affordable and restoring the faith we have lost in our leaders to do the right thing.
